It was pouring down when I started my trip this morning but my tribal instinct prompted me not to stop. By 7am, I had already crossed more than 100 kilometers and reached Pothundi Dam on my way to Nelliyampathy in Palakkad district. I spotted a pair of peacocks in a garden. I imagined a nice picture of the pair in the background of a green-capped mountain behind. I focused my lens and started clicking.
